"At the end of the day, it comes down to this:
The way we choose to see ourselves...it limits who we can be.
Step outside the box. And you might learn something.
Because we are more capable than we imagine.
Because we all have it in us to do the things we've never done before.
Because, sometimes, we can surprise even ourselves."
~ Erica from Being Erica
Oh, I LOVE this, Jayne! It's just what I needed to hear right now. And I love the pics, too. Are those your babies?
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Thanks, Nissie! I'm glad you found it inspirational and the kitties made you smile. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI really loved that quote when I heard it on Being Erica. I highly recommend that TV show, Nissie.
No, those aren't my babies, but aren't they super adorable? I just have one "baby", and she's a cutie, too. There's a pic of her on the right hand side here under "Labels".
HUGS! XOXO
I forgot to mention that Being Erica has lots of great quotes and I'll be posting more in future.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that show, Jayne. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for telling me about it.
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute I just want to squeeze them! I saw the pic of your cat and I used to have one that looked exactly the same! I miss all my sweet kitties. I only have the barking kind of fur babies now. Oh and a turtle lol. And of course, my two legged darlings. :D
Awww... the barking and two legged kind are good, too! ^_^
ReplyDeleteNissie, "Being Erica" is a Canadian TV show. This is the summary on imdb:
""Therapist" Dr. Tom - who is constantly spouting famous and not so famous historical quotes - is Erica Strange's savior and worst enemy. Erica, a young adult woman, is having a bad life because of the bad decisions she's made. Erica provides Dr. Tom with a long list of those pivotal moments in her life that she feels have led to the bad state she is in today. Erica is initially unaware of what Dr. Tom is intending on doing with this list. What he does do is transport her back in time to each of those moments so that she, with all the knowledge of her present day life, can make better decisions to fix her life. Regardless of these new decisions, Dr. Tom hopes that Erica will come to the realization that although the opinions of others about her life do matter, it's what she thinks of her decisions and her life that are more important."
Great quote, Jayne. It's one of those ones that you should have on the fridge or something (I <3 the photos, too!)
ReplyDelete@Quinn: Thanks, Quinn! It's a great quote, eh? And the kitty pics adorable, aren't they. ^_^ So sorry for the delay in replying. I've been MIA. Been super busy getting ready for some overseas friends visiting and a Great Ocean Road trip. Very excited about it!
